1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before? A lot of things. I got my license. I got an official photography website up, roadtripped across the country (in three days, lol.) I learned a lot.2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept some of them... but resolutions have always been a little slow-going for me. ;) This year I'm going for more focus and of course a deeper relationship with God.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Yes, some of my best friends had their 7th. It's been awesome watching him grow, smile, and blow bubbles. :)4. Did anyone close to you die? My grandma on my dads side.
5. What countries did you visit? None this year. This is sad.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? The ability to sustain focus, faith, and motivation.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Hm. not really a big dates person, but Zak and Chelsey coming to visit in early november was pretty amazing. :)8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Growing up a lot. Finding purpose.
9. What was your biggest failure? Allowing myself to be distracted from whats important.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? This spring I had something pretty icky, along with having some vertebrae out. The chiropractor fixed me up though, so life was good and happy. Canon 30D :D11. What was the best thing you bought? Canon 30D :D
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My family and friends, again win. I learned how amazingly trustworthy they are this year, how much they care about me, and will be there for me no matter what. Seriously you guys get gold stars. buckets of them! Zak, Chels, Jen, Sara, Chris... and of course my family. Much love. <3
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? those that shall not be named. ;)
14. Where did most of your money go? Camera equipment, some clothes, gifts and charities...
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Traveling, my website, moving further in life
16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Over You - Chris Daughtry, Gotta Be Somebody - Nickelback, and Remember the Name has definitely stuck around for another year of being a favorite.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder? I'm probably happier. I'm really fulfilled.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Taking specific time for personal growth.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of? Procrastinating
20. How will you be spending Christmas? With family.21. How will you be spending New Years? Not sure yet. probably something with the family.
24. What was your favorite TV program? Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. Mmmm. lol.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? I don't really hate anybody particularly.
26. What was the best book you read? "A Grief Observed" by CS Lewis was very powerful. Also "Searching for God Knows What" by Donald Miller. Some of the concepts changed my thinking so much.27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Boys Like Girls, Chris Daughtry. I guess Fort Minor was last year. :( lol
28. What did you want and got? Camera!! :D Yay. Opportunities. closer relationships with the people I love.30. What was your favorite film of this year? probably The Dark Knight.
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I was 19, and I spent it with family i think. it was a while ago. lol.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Really, no clue.
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? Uhh it tended to be more casual.34. What kept you sane? God. my family. my friends. music. getting my license.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? David Boreanaz. ;) (yes Rachel?)
36. What political issue stirred you the most? The election I guess, though I don't get too emotionally involved.
37. Who did you miss? Different people, at different times.38. Who was the best new person you met? I met some really amazing people. Glenn and Rebecca Fadner are some of my favorites though.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008: I learned that not all responsibility is evil, and that it leads to lifes big leauges. ;)
